- Raymond I. Smith - Truckee River Walk & Amphitheater
Located in Reno, this park and amphitheater hosts events throughout the year including music and craft shows.
- Virginia City
Situated 30 miles southwest of Reno/Sparks, this old mining town gained its fame with the discovery of the Comstock lode. Mine tours and shopping for all.
- Donner Lake
Located 34 miles west of Reno/Sparks, this lake is nestled in the beautiful Sierras and is ideal for outdoor activity.
- Bowers Mansion Park
Set against the eastern slope of the Sierras about 20 miles south of Reno/Sparks. The park contains numerous picnic areas, two pools, and the mansion itself which is open for tour throughout the summer.
